Elderflower Gin and Tonic with Apple Garnish

A refreshing gin and tonic cocktail combining London Dry Gin infused with local apples and linden blossom, elderflower tonic, fresh apple slices, and juniper berries. The drink is served in a chilled copa glass filled with cubed ice and garnished with thinly sliced red or green apple fanned across the top.
Ingredients
- 3 ½ tbsp gin (London Dry, apple and linden blossom infused)
- 150 200 ml, elderflower tonic

- 1 apple (red or green), sliced thin and fanned

Pre-chill a large copa (balloon) glass by filling with ice, swirling for 15 seconds and discarding, or rinsing under very cold water until cold

Add 50ml gin to the chilled glass

Fill the glass to the top with plenty of cubed ice to minimize dilution

Pour elderflower tonic into the glass

Cut apple into 4-5 thin slices and fan them out before placing on top of the drink

Sprinkle a small handful of juniper berries over the drink

Stir gently and serve
