8-Layer Bars with Macadamia Nuts

Decadent layered bar cookies combining chocolate and shortbread cookie crusts, sweetened condensed milk, butterscotch and chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, white chocolate, coconut, and macadamia nuts. Baked until golden and cut into individual servings for an impressive homemade treat.
Ingredients

- ½ cup butter, melted
- 14 ounce sweetened condensed milk, fat free, canned
- 1 cup butterscotch flavored chips

- 1 ⅓ cup flaked coconut
- 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Spray a 13 by 9 inch baking pan with non-stick buttery cooking spray.

Combine chocolate and shortbread cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of the pan.

Spread sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crumb mixture.

Layer chips in order: butterscotch, white chocolate, peanut butter, dark chocolate.

Sprinkle flaked coconut over the chips.

Top with chopped macadamia nuts.

Bake until the top is lightly browned, about 25 to 30 minutes.

Remove from oven and loosen from the sides of the pan while still warm.

Tips
Line the pan with aluminum foil sprayed with cooking spray and extend foil over edges to use as handles for easy removal.
