Grilled Steak Salad with Salsa Sour Cream

Composed salad built on chopped romaine with sliced grilled steak, fresh tomato, sweet or red onion, and shredded cheddar jack and Monterey Jack cheese. Dressed with equal parts salsa and sour cream mixed together. Quick assembly using leftover steak kebabs.

  • 1 to 2 Tbsp, diced sweet onion or red onion
  • cup shredded cheese, cheddar jack and Monterey Jack combined
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • salsa, of choice or homemade
    pico de gallo mixed with lime crema1:1condiment

Instructions

    Wash, dry and chop romaine lettuce, then spread on a plate.

    Slice leftover steak and arrange over lettuce.

    Dice onion and sprinkle over salad.

    Shred cheese and sprinkle onto salad.

    Wash, pat dry and dice tomato, then sprinkle on salad.

    Mix equal parts salsa and sour cream together, then dress salad.
